Healthcare Staff Recruiter

The Healthcare Staff Recruiter role maintains a strong internal network with key stakeholders, providing consultative guidance on interviewing and selection best practices. The incumbent should exhibit persuasiveness and confidence in communicating advantages of Flagship while overcoming typical objections in hiring process, negotiating effectively, and gaining commitment to achieve results.

This role manages full cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, focused selection methodologies, diversity recruitment solutions, selection review and office placement. In addition, the position coordinates the recruiting processes for practice support staff positions throughout the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists with the administration of recruiting practices, including position/headcount control, position advertising/posting, and onboarding.

  2. Serves as the administrator of the company Applicant Tracking System. Maintains Applicant Tracking System software to ensure accuracy and effective utilization.

  3. Assists in the administration of policies and procedures related to recruitment, selection, and employment.

  4. Assists with the recruiting process by reviewing candidates, conducting phone interviews, and administering pre-employment testing/qualification processes. Assists with sourcing of candidates for corporate and center positions.

  5. Acts as liaison with area recruitment sources, employment agencies, and approved recruiters.

  6. Creates offer letters, submits background checks/drug screens, sends/maintains

    documentation for adverse action letters, and authorizes new hires as ‘clear to start’.

  7. Maintains records on recruiting activities as required and provides hiring statistics and reports.

  8. Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, technical, and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  9. Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least two years’ experience in human resource or an Associate’s degree and a combination of equivalent work experience and education.

    • Strong interpersonal skills: must be able to communicate well with wide variety of individuals within the organization and work well in a team-based environment.

    • Considerable skill in sourcing/interviewing techniques, knowledge of a breadth of job functions, extensive knowledge of HR policy and procedure as well as federal and state employment laws. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PPT).

      Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with full-cycle recruitment in a healthcare environment.

    • Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
